FuhrParticipantThe Greatest Beer Run ever is a weirdly uneven film IMO. Trying to balance drama and comedy and, for the most part, not doing a good job of it.
What are you watching. Movies? Tv? Streaming? Series?

ViratasKeymasterI just Finished all of Yellowstone, started 1883. Tacoma FD is funny.
That’s to keep your whining ass shut. You want off this ranch, you got it. I’ll drive your ass to the train station myself.November 2, 2022 at 9:03 am #511
FuhrParticipantI liked 1883 a lot more than Yellowstone. Yellowstone is too far fetched soap opera like story lines. 1883, in my mind, could have been a very accurate telling of a wagon train.
Like Tacoma FD as well. Not high art but makes a guy laugh.

JBrophyParticipantJust finished season 1 of Only Murders in the Building. Also watching Alaska Daily. Waiting for the new season of Yellowstone.
“I’m sick and f—in’ tired of making excuses for all these f—in’ guys getting’ paid on this hockey club blaming it on somebody else all the f—in’ time.” – BrophyNovember 2, 2022 at 1:05 pm #518
mspartParticipantBought a few episodes of season 1 of the old Get Smart TV shows. It still holds up after all these years.

MetsFanParticipantLoved me some Get Smart as a kid.
My wife loves Rip from Yellowstone. So I had her watch The Last Champion with me and she couldn’t handle that being the same guy and stopped watching 🤣November 2, 2022 at 1:42 pm #521
ViratasKeymasterHas anyone watched Reservation Dogs? I like it.

FuhrParticipantHas anyone watched Reservation Dogs? I like it.
Couple people have recommended that to me as well.
November 2, 2022 at 2:41 pm #524
MetsFanParticipantI watched the first season of Reservation Dogs and enjoyed it. Started the second but don’t remember if we finished it or not.
Fun fact.. the kid that plays Bear is part Chino-Guyanese and is related to my wife’s aunt.

FuhrParticipantIf you like a mockumentary…. What we do in the shadows, Best in Show, spinal tap…. Players on paramount+ is an entertaining watch.
If you saw American Vandal on Netflix (who drew the dicks) one of the creators created this as well
Going to try Inside Man (Netflix) and maybe The Watcher too

FuhrParticipant- Sopranos
- The wire
- Ted Lasso
- Breaking bad
- Better call Saul
- Friday night lights
- Mare of Easttown
- Halt and catch fire
- Party down
- Silicon valley
Just a list, no particular order/ranking just as they popped into my head but all I would reccomend if you haven’t seen them.

MetsFanParticipantAnother vote here for Ted Lasso.
The Righteous Gemstones is good too.

FuhrParticipantThe Righteous Gemstones is good too.
I don’t know how to quote people here….
I can only take Danny McBride in small doses. Goes from hilarious to “SHUT UP ALREADY” in a matter of seconds for me

MetsFanParticipantCan’t say I disagree, Fuhr. I haven’t been binging it. Just watching a little at a time. That helps. Plus I enjoy some of the other characters.
If you like documentaries, Facing Nolan is a good one. It’s about Nolan Ryan but more than just his sports accolades. It was made by his sons and is almost as much about their mom as it is about Nolan.
