Hi all,
I was on the intermatwrestle forum and we were discussing Cox going to 97Kg. I guess that happens in the next WTTs. He is a near lock to medal at 92 if he stays at the same level. Going to 97, he has to beat Snyder first off. And then there is Mohamadian and Sadulaev. So I think best he can expect is bronze assuming Russia is playing again. If not, he might get away with a silver. But that is wishful thinking because there are some tough folks there.
My personal opinion is that he should go 92 next year and then work to beat Snyder for 2024. He already wrestled Snyder and lost both matches 5-5 and 7-1. I’m just not thinking this is his gig.
