Our local mountain pass is getting 2 feet of snow over today and tomorrow, which means it is raining here ha ha. We are slated to get snow this weekend, but who knows. Getting cold here as well. Next 6 days (including this morning) will be lows below freezing. Not all that cold but a little. I think it gets to 27 at the coldest. My son is a salt spreader and is busy the next week word.

Yes, there is a lot of walking going on there for sure. It is a half a day journey from the Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial and almost that much to get to the Jefferson Memorial from there. Yes, that is our plan. We have an airbnb chosen right along the metro, it is in north DC. He just needs to confirm that this is a thing we can do. The goal is to visit him and his girlfriend. And see DC word.

We are planning to visit them in DC in April. We will be using the subway almost exclusively to get around. Should be a good visit and hopefully warmer word.

We here in PNW have gray skies and rain. It is wet outside all the time. Today it got down to 32 but I didn’t see anything frozen anywhere. So not quite there yet here word.

Cold and rainy here but 11F higher than the average for this day. Still feels cold at 54. Got almost an inch of water over the last 24 hours. It is supposed to get warmer and the snow level will go up to 8000 ft. That’s really high. Our ski areas are at 3000 and 4000 ft levels. So hopefully the snow level gets down lower.…[Read more]

I agree. WE are facing the same thing here in WA and specifically in King County. There is no penalty for juvie offenses. They have a diversion program.
