News of the hot tub. It heated up to 100 overnight. Working great word!

Two things:

1. put a new pressure switch in the hot tub and the tub is still not warming. I think the switch needs adjusting. I jumpered the wires and the heater gets 14 amps, so that works. So maybe my old pressure switch needed to be adjusted.

I remember while living in Apple Valley, MN, there was a 40 degree drop in temp in a matter of an hour or so. I watched the outside thermometer moving downward. Never seen anything like that before or after word.

That is some serious hail. We got hail yesterday and it stuck and we had white all over the yard this morning. But our hail was pea sized word.

My employer has a pretty good insurance, but it will cost him a lot to go on it via COBRA. I think he is going to get insurance through his company plan. Maybe use Obamacare word

My son turns 26 in a month so he has to find his own insurance word.

Took the riding mower in to have the belt replaced. Actually the belts, the tranny belt and the blade belt. So hopefully, they find the tranny is perfect. I really hope that is the case word.

Got my new ammeter and it works great. Unfortunately no closer to finding out what is going on.

On another note, by son broke my riding lawnmower. It starts but doesn’t move. It appears to me that the drive belt is binding and not freely moving. So hopefully it is just a belt issue. Otherwise a new tractor may be in order. That’s too…[Read more]

Well, the hot tub was leaking. So I had a guy fix that a few years ago, but the cover was torn by the dogs so it was filling up. My wife’s cousin in NH got 13 inches and a tree fell across her driveway. Some good samaritan helped her get her generator started. They will get the tree cleared later I guess.
