Just got a Macbook Air for my birthday. Not sure how to work it. I’m used to Windows. But it comes installed with GarageBand which is a music recording software. I used to use a 4 track recorder to record music and that worked good. So now I have been getting interested in doing that again and will have to figure this new software out.…[Read more]

Snow is still on the ground here, not so much on the roads. Even after warming up yesterday, it didn’t all melt word.

Got snow last night, about 1/2 inch with up to 1 inch in places. Dug tire tracks down my driveway. That worked well. Snow should melt off by end of today word.

Congrats to your granddaughter RYou. That is just awesome.

8:00 am right now and it is still dark out word.

Did just that. I had already done it once so I had another bulb to put in. But I forgot how to do it. Crazy way, but youtube reminded me and I got it in just after work in the parking lot. So all good word.

Tried to change the blinker light on the right rear and couldn’t do it. I’ve done it on the left side, but I can’t remember exactly how I did it. It really shouldn’t be that difficult word.

I managed to get a haircut during Covid. My first one was in Utah, and thereafter in WA word.

Rain is in the forecast out here. And what about that Chinese balloon? Should be brought down word.

Tankless water heater appears to still be working. That’s good news. It is a small unit, a 13.5KW unit, takes 60 amp breaker and wiring, and flows enough to do a shower. It is about 8 inch high, maybe 12 inch long, and about 5 inch deep. A small unit. I hope not to have to change it out for years to come word.

29 this morning, still felt cold. Was snowing a little too. But only enough to dust the car and streets word.

You got that right, was 22 this morning. Very cold for around here. But low humidity as well so it was not as bad as 34 here is and you just freeze to death. Great win for PSU, too bad for Iowa. There were a couple of very close losses on Iowa that could have turned it around. Looks like another PSU domination run at NCAAs word.

I just installed a new tankless heater in the tiny house. First one crapped out. Second one started tripping internal breakers and I had to reset every few days. Fortunately, they took it back and gave me a new one. Seems to be working ok for now. Very difficult to install. It goes under the sink and the wires are 60 amp wires, very…[Read more]

We have hot water in the tiny house again. Everyone is happy word.

Sub freezing temps are coming this weekend. Low of 20 week from Wed. Gotta make sure the animals have liquid water. Solid water doesn’t seem to do them much good word.

That is a great deal. How did you find out about this? Personally I go for used cars that are under 10k. Mine was 13k which I struggled with. My wife convinced me. Still have a few years of payments on it word.

Sound advice AC but this is essentially a new car. I bought it at the dealer with all the new car warranties and all that. Over $1500 when all is said and done. Stupid really word

Car repairs are a racket word
