Not much emphasis on the pin. That’s what I see mostly. Now that may be that the competition is just that good, but it appears to me to be a points thing. May be easier to get points and dominate that way than get pins and dominate that way.

I do not like Fix. Too erratic in my opinion. Hot and cold. He has the capability but does not seem to always bring his A game. So I agree with you, I’m just thinking that Fix being younger will overtake Gilman. But the Penn St. room may have a lot of assistance to Gillman that he can capitalize on the next few years.

Who will be on our FS team in two years?
57 – Fix
65-Yianni
74 – Dake
86 – Taylor
97 – Snyder
120 – Steveson – wants more glory.
Not a surprising list. I think Dake, Taylor, and Snyder has what it takes to be there and win a medal. I don’t think Burroughs will beat Dake, but that would be quite the story eh? I think Fix will figure out…[Read more]

San Marino has to be loving it and gaining a new love for wrestling. Might be worth visiting to see why it exists anyway!!

With split government.
D in the WH
D Senate and R House
R Senate and D House
R Senate and R House.
Any of these scenarios is fine by me. Split government is the way to go. They put a check on each other. Nothing but the most important stuff that really needs to get done gets done. No more of this All Ds No Rs votes. That is not the…[Read more]

I mispoike. Our incumbent and the R challenger debated again last night. I did not see it and did not know about it. If I had known, I would have watched. Apparently it wasn’t good for the incumbent.

Not much different in WA. Incumbent only allowed 1 debate with her challenger. Right after that K. Harris had to come to help out. I think our incumbent is going down.

Ryou,
Glad you found it. TOM forum just disappeared for me. Was there a reason ever given or did it just end all of the sudden?
Anyway, this was a great year for USA Wrestling. Steveson would have made it 5 Golds for sure.

I like your suntan V. I think they would have done well with the Russians there even. We might have had 1 or 2 less gold but still 8 in finals. 76KG and 97 KG come to mind as possible maybe. But I think the others would have been the same. We really have an outstanding team right now.

Just read up on him. Hopefully he just keeps improving and can move into a Senior level spot and do some damage.

If that is the case, based on reporting and polling, I’m thinking that the R’s will split the government, may take all of Congress. I know here in very liberal WA, the R Senate candidate Smiley is giving 30 year vet Murray a run for her money. Murray had to call on Kamala Harris of all people to help her out this week. Her one debate with…[Read more]
