Rain all weekend last weekend, Monday, Wed (today), and Friday. Highs in the 50s next 10 days. Lows in the 40s next 10 days. Our habaneros are turning from green to orange now so we need to keep watch for a freeze word.

We have a annual burn ban from Jun 15 or so to sep 30 or so. We have done 3 burns so far this month. We collect a lot word.

I changed out the water pump and that didn’t work. Then I heard weird noises. It turns out the old pump was still working. The fan will not turn when the system tries to get it going. Well, that’s impossible here in the woods. Our garden was invaded by a bear the other day. Deer, coyotes, racoons, opposums, and squirrels. Even a cougar drops by every once in a while. Can’t see the horizon due to trees and overcast skies word.

That’s pretty cool with the Comet. I remember Halleys when it came around, that was pretty spectacular. We can’t see the current comet with all the overcast skies and I think we are not in the zone to see it for some reason. It seems we should be but maybe not. Cool but dry so far today word.

Offensive coordinator also. That was a good solution to the floor burn. Lost my voice over the weekend and haven’t been feeling up to par for about a month, a slow burn. Close to pneumonia but not quite there yet thank goodness. I’ve had enough of that word.

Yeah, Atlanta got hit hard. Asheville NC got hit really hard I hear. Spent last saturday cutting and splitting a tree we felled last week. That wore me out. Hard splitting. I’ve never had such trouble splitting wood. So I rested watching the Alabama Georgia game. Great game especially because Alabama won and are now #1 word.
