I think it made it to 65F yesterday. Later this week it will be in the low 80s here. Then it will go back to the 60s. This is quite seasonal around here. Lousy weather for when school lets out word.

Wiffle Ball! Love that game! That’s great, I had a pretty relaxing day. Maybe I’ll get another balancing kit and try your idea out. It’s just interesting that there was no noticeable change with the weight on one blade in any position word.

I chucked the old fan. The blades hook up the same but the new ones are longer. It just seems odd that I could get no better result at all no matter where I placed the test clip. It’s good enough I think. It has 5 settings, high, not so high, medium, slow, off. Medium cranks it out with the longer blades word.

Tried the balancing kit last night. No good. Not one position made it really all that great. Last fan we did it and it worked great. I don’t know what is wrong here. Probably me word.

Well, we bought two years ago. Put one in and then the plan for the other fell through. So we kept it. It turns out it is the same stupid one that we had. I put up essentially the very same fan. Well, our ceiling fan has been on the blitz for quite a long time. Last night it stopped with a horrible noise. So I get to replace that one today or tomorrow. Probably tomorrow since we are going out tonight to celebrate our daughter’s birthday word.

I’ve got a new project for you. If your grass is scorched you can put in an in ground sprinkler system. Easy as can be. Just have to do a little digging. I did that in the hard red clay of O’ahu when we lived there. I ended up breaking the trenching machine I rented. Tough dirt. Gonna be drier here for the next 10 days word.

We had a well fed possum on our deck a few days ago. Ugly creature for sure. He was up on the picnic table and couldn’t figure out how to get off. He bumbled his way off, it was fun to watch. Yeah, we had a rare moment in time where there were no overcast skies. So my son went driving around looking for it after midnight. He found one of the best sites for activity was at our house in our driveway.

My son caught it, but my wife and I tried Sat night but there was nothing. Too tired the next night. My son said it was barely there, could be seen better thru his iphone word.

We had a stellar weekend. I didn’t see it, but my son got pics of the norther lights that were all over the sky here. And the skies were clear and it was nice a warm. Back to overcast skies and cool temps word.
