Got a little done. The job is to put up cedar boards where the climbing wall was. But they are different widths so that is not very conducive to keeping things straight. I either get to rip some boards or find some at the right width word.

Didn’t get to the basement. Grandkids invaded unbeknownst to me. So we were busy with them word.

My son turned 25 yesterday so we had a great celebration for him. I cooked shoyu chicken that my wife marinated, we bought fried rice from Panda Express (his favorite) and Yakisoba and a pineapple from Costco. It was pretty good. Didn’t finish the basement, that might happen tonight word.

See RYou, that’s where all this effort goes. She asks the impossible and wonders why you can’t give. My wife just puts the bed infront of intakes and over outlets for the heating system. She just generally doesn’t care. She’s in charge of the interior unless new electrical is needed word.

Cold here this morning. 29F. But sky is clear and I could see Mt Rainier this morning which is not usually possible due to the overcast skies that dominate the climate. Plus I got a closer parking spot word.

It snowed last night. Huge flakes. Very wet and heavy. Schools on 2 hour late schedule. Roads generally pretty good. My normal route was blocked by police due to something. Could have been a tree or a car crash. So I went to work via another route. I even almost got to park close. Lot was full word.

Got a little bit of snow last night. Amazingly, the school district is on regular schedule. Usually they, at the very least, go for a 2 hour delay out of an abundance of caution word.

Yep froze last night. A little snow/hail on the ground. Salting was a success so all is well. Low tonight will be in 40s then it dives again. Not too far below freezing but enough to get the salting going word.

We don’t get that one off until Christmas. We get about 1.5 weeks for Christmas to make up for the holidays during hte year we miss. We get New Years (swallowed with Christmas), Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, 2 days for Thanksgiving, and the long Christmas. I like the long Christmas word.

You have every day off RYou. You’re retired remember!! My son’s in-laws are quite busy and have been retired for some time. Maybe busy doesn’t change, you just don’t get holidays off word.
