31F this AM is not tremendous. Fortunately it’s the bottom for the next 10 days.

Not ready to deal with that kind of cold. Barely breaking 50 today and we have to ride north to pay a visit to the Halloweeners.

6 days of gloom ahead, clouds and 50’s.

The week has been a 10 so far, mid to high 70’s, a peek into the 80’s, blue sky, sunshine and low humidity. One more day to top 80, then the chill sets in.

79 yesterday, 80 sumfthing today.

When the boys were in scouts there were a few campsites that offered great bouldering. I had the agility back then. Also did an indoor rock wall with my 6 year old grandson. He zoomed to the top. I made it but I was beat. He climbed down before I made the top. I just pushed off and let the lifeline coast me to the ground.

70’s end of the week, 80 Saturday then back to October weather on Sunday.

Another GK birthday party. That does it until December, then February, then the long breather til July.

Oily down the drain creates nightmares. We had cast iron drainpipes in or first house. 2 months after moving in the kitchen drain backed up. I removed the trap but it was clean so I knew it weas further down the line. The plumber came to snake and doing so he blew out a section lateral pipe. Baseball and soccer tonight before the rain. Wifey goes to one, I the other. 45 minutes in we switch. Games end under the lights. Grandson has been pitching. He’s the only one that consistently hits the catcher. Catcher doesn’t catch, just takes balls in the chest, knees and head, then chases them down as they roll away.

One more day at 70F then 5 days of rain ahead which will slow down the outdoor sports schedule.

Gks are driving us crazy with game travel. Granddaughters in gymnastics and soccer. Boys, flag football, fall baseball, soccer x 2.

Air has been dry. Open a window and the spackle dries pretty quickly. Onto priming. May get to 70F if we are lucky. Looks like we’ve moved into the 40s / 60s month.

Spackling today, not a sensational activity
