Crazy weekend with GKs. Time for some real R&R.

Reminded of my son and his first car and his first oil change. He was always around when I did mine so he thought he knew what he was doing. All was well up to the point of replacing with hew oil. He forgot to put the pan plug back in. 4 qts of fresh oil all over the driveway.

With a flick of the mouse, the guessers wiped out the weekend rain. Wish it would be 80’s

Weekend is not looking good. Would really be nice if those guessers were true to form and wrong, again.

Finally, some rain. Grass was getting a bit dry after 2 weeks of sun and clouds.

Had 2 patches of skin cancer removed last year. I never recognized the possibility, but my doc said I should have them checked out. He was right. One was off my cheek, 1/2″ D but the doc cut me 2″ in order to pull skin to cover the scrape out. 15 internal, 15 external stitches. Looked a bit like Frankenstein. My wife and I have been biopsied. There are a few sleepless nights between being told of the possibility and waiting for the test results. Thankfully both were negative. It’s like heading toward a brick wall. My brother in law, 79 has been living with prostate cancer for about 5 years. The doc said it’s very low level and not worthy of surgery…[Read more]

70s but no rain in sight, could use some.

Great Mother’s Day with the gang.

Popped 90 yesterday 77 overnight. Slow drop to 70 this afternoon then 50s tonight. It was fun while it lasted.

Another sunny day in the neighborhood.

80’s today and tomorrow but no 90’s, no rain in sight

No rain in sight. Just 70’s and sunshine.

5 days of 70’s swept away by northern winds. Southern winds are fighting back and plan to return tomorrow.

1st grandson, 1st Holy Communion ….. far too much BBQ
