I really can’t wait to get this place done and get back to some traveling. Our last was 18 months ago for few days in Bermuda. Wifey wants it done too so she hasn’t pressured me for time away. I get a bit jealous when you guys talk about your travels. I’ve been browsing for our trip to Italy. Maybe next August or September while it still warm.

Hung the opener motor from the ridge beam 16′ in the air. Balanced an extension ladder against it and had to use my head for a third point of contact for balance while bolting down the angle iron. 6 days of gloom ahead, clouds and 50’s.

The week has been a 10 so far, mid to high 70’s, a peek into the 80’s, blue sky, sunshine and low humidity. One more day to top 80, then the chill sets in.

79 yesterday, 80 sumfthing today.

When the boys were in scouts there were a few campsites that offered great bouldering. I had the agility back then. Also did an indoor rock wall with my 6 year old grandson. He zoomed to the top. I made it but I was beat. He climbed down before I made the top. I just pushed off and let the lifeline coast me to the ground.

70’s end of the week, 80 Saturday then back to October weather on Sunday.

Oily down the drain creates nightmares. We had cast iron drainpipes in or first house. 2 months after moving in the kitchen drain backed up.
