Painting the bedroom today. I hate painting.

benn raining since 7:30 AM, 16 hours and only 3/4″ on the ground

Baseball and soccer tonight before the rain. Wifey goes to one, I the other. 45 minutes in we switch. Games end under the lights. Grandson has been pitching. He’s the only one that consistently hits the catcher. Catcher doesn’t catch, just takes balls in the chest, knees and head, then chases them down as they roll away.

One more day at 70F then 5 days of rain ahead which will slow down the outdoor sports schedule.

Gks are driving us crazy with game travel. Granddaughters in gymnastics and soccer. Boys, flag football, fall baseball, soccer x 2.

Air has been dry. Open a window and the spackle dries pretty quickly. Onto priming. May get to 70F if we are lucky. Looks like we’ve moved into the 40s / 60s month.

The rain seems to be over but there are linger storm clouds to the east and west. 8 inches total, but that’s a lucky number. We never got the afternoon or evening deluges as they got pushed east and bypassed us. sunshine ahead Sunday – Thursday.

Ha. He’s on a business trip in Australia, a key supplier called and informed them he’s going out of business.

nothin but low 70s and rain. Son is out of town and his roof started leaking. I’ll have to run up there and take a look before the rain hits this afternoon. It’s probably the seam between the roof and chimney.

I cringe when I hear about horse riding accidents. Too many involve the neck.
Remnants of Ophelia keep swirling around. The rain is light now, but the 40-50 mph wind has been constant. I can’t believe we haven’t lost power due to tree damage somewhere on the grid.

Feels like it, 13 of 15. 1 more bath and another bedroom to go. I’m in month 25 of the reno. The plan is to be finished by Christmas be able to house 16 overnight. Wifey is staying with the daughter and fam for a few days while I gut another bedroom.

AM 50s PM 70s for the near future.

Plans are in the works for Italy. Wifey’s family hail from Naples and Palermo. Her great grandfather lived in a castle in Palermo. Presumably some hotshot over there, Sicilian mafia maybe ? Another great grandfather started up the Ocone Winery outside Naples and it still owned by family today. They visited 20 odd years ago, time to repay the visit.
