It hasn’t rained since Friday, but those guessers have predicted rain for the next 11 days.

A great day is was. The 10 Gks and the 6 parents over made for mayhem. No rain so the day was spent outside. I hope yours was just as much fun.

So the guessers are 1 for 3 on their 8 days of rain. 1/2″ on Friday, nada a drop on Sat and Sun. None the forecast for today.

Heading into 8 days of rain those guessers are predicting. They’ll be wrong for sure.

I went an electric Masterbuilt with the built in thermostat and a thermometer for the big stuff. My only issue is the chip tray is small and I get only 30 minutes between reloads. For that reason, I won’t run it overnight, though I could.

Sunny and 80 for the day. Not a day for working on a car.

Not totally out. Will still do motor and trans oil, and brakes. Oh, and periodically remove the check engine because the idiot at the gas station didn’t replace the cap properly and there’s a pressure leak. Blasted by wildfire smoke from Ontario yesterday. The entire province must be burning. The sun was a orange ball of fire in the sky. It was like a dense fog; you couldn’t see beyond 500 feet. Little league playoff games cancelled till Friday. Hopefully the wind will change and blow it out to sea.

We have a neat skeet course over here. It’s set up like an 18 hole golf course. Each range offers different tosses to test your skill including one that rolls the targets mimicking rabbit / fox runs. You even ride golf carts to move through the course. It’s quite popular and usually you need to schedule your round a month in advance.

Tell me about it. 3 little league playoff games and babysitting four Saturday night.

0.10 inch from an overnight T storm. Just enough to rinse the pollen off the car and that’s about all.

3/4″ in the last 4 weeks. Nothing on the schedule per weather guessers.

Sure don’t miss those endless meetings.

Crazy weekend with GKs. Time for some real R&R.

Reminded of my son and his first car and his first oil change. He was always around when I did mine so he thought he knew what he was doing. All was well up to the point of replacing with hew oil. He forgot to put the pan plug back in. 4 qts of fresh oil all over the driveway.

With a flick of the mouse, the guessers wiped out the weekend rain. Wish it would be 80’s

Finally, some rain. Grass was getting a bit dry after 2 weeks of sun and clouds.

Had 2 patches of skin cancer removed last year. I never recognized the possibility, but my doc said I should have them checked out. He was right. My wife and I have been biopsied. There are a few sleepless nights between being told of the possibility and waiting for the test results. Thankfully both were negative.
