Those weather guessers were up to no good again yesterday. They predicted one of those cyclone bombs to hit last night.

It just rolled passed us out on the Atlantic and ran into Long Island, Rhode Island, Mass and Maine. Got a nice drizzle though if only 1″ of water. GKs are back on the mats this weekend.

We bought an electric push mower, 60 V, when we moved in. The lot is only a 1/4 acre and probably 50% is covered with pavers and garden so it was a borderline decision for a rider. Whoa, 4 grandies in a year, Our best was 3. It’s great having them close together. We’ve been told all are done. All are healthy so I can settle with that that. The youngest Annabelle, 10 , is an absolute hoot. Soooo happy. All giggles like her Mom. When you say bye bye she holds out her arm wand wiggles her fingers wanting a kiss on the cheek.

Basically, the same here, kids fund their own trip. They’ll do a fund raiser and the businesses in town make sure they have enough cash to go. Most of the families go, so they just need to raise cash for airfare, some meals and the costs for the coaches.

Ordinarily this would be the week for my final cut, but due to the mild weather zi suspect that may not happen until December. Cleaned the leaves off the front yard, Backyard goes down tomorrow. I’ll have another go at it in a few weeks since there is still plenty hanging around.

3 days in the low 80’s gone with the wind. The leaves are piling up and was going to start the rake out but it’s too windy and just blows them off my tarp. All’s quiet out here. The only complaints I hear about the election are from the news people.
