No rain, not cold, not windy

low 40’s today but then back into the 50’s for a while.

We bought a hair clipper March 2020 because of COVID. I haven’t been to a barber since. I did wifies 3 times, she’s been back for quite a while now. She was better than I was…… in her mind.

Bottomed out at 8F but a -15 windchill. Gone and back on the rise.

Punxsutawney Phil says 6 more weeks of winter.

We’re in a slow decent to single digits tomorrow morning, then a constant rise back into the 50’s by Monday PM.

The prep…..absolutely not. They have to find a better way. That drink tastes horrible, but since they allow clear liquids other than water, I mixed it with 7 Up. Saw the gastroenterologist early this AM. Was up all night responding to that nasty elixir I was required to drink, all 96 ounces. No sleep, but the nap while he was doing his thing helped. I’m about to crash again. Finally got to eat after a day without food.

Water was a year old when we bought but a tankless is down the road…..someday.

Have plenty of hot water except if someone turns on a faucet, then you get either scalded or frozen. Been installing pressure balancing valves in the new baths.

Bottoming out in the low 30’s in the AM, 40’s in the PM. Despite being a mild winter, I’m still paying a ton more for heat than last year.

Used prices are coming back down. At the height, my daughter sold her Explorer for $1000 more than she paid and after putting 30000 miles on it.

I clicked on an advertised used car from a Cadillac dealer and there was a link to the website. If I can find it again, I’ll post it. I had it bookmarked but my old laptop hard drive died, and I lost it (amongst a ton of other information).

Weather guessers are predicting the first big snowstorm for next weekend. Presumably, they will be wrong, again.

The last 3 I’ve bought were year old low mileage mfg certified since they come with warranties that are better and last longer than those for new. GM has a website listing all of their employee driven test vehicles around the country and will ship to the local dealer at no charge. Peace and quiet ends today. The General comes home after 4 days with the daughter and kids while her husband was away on a business trip.
