What are some that you think you will remember for a long time? Three that I have stuck in my head are:

    1. Bart Chelsvig vs. Kevin Randlemann Big 10 Finals 1992 I believe. It was a good old fashion brawl. Even Russ and Gable nearly went to blows.
    2. The same year Tom Brands vs. Joey Gilbert. The final score was 23-15 or something close to it. You are missing out if you have never seen Gilbert shoot a single from the other side of the mat.
    3. The Durso Run at nationals was a hell of a fun ride! (Lesser known, but fun none the less)

That’s to keep your whining ass shut. You want off this ranch, you got it. I’ll drive your ass to the train station myself.

I still enjoy watching these two NCAA Final bouts

Looks like the system may not accept Youtube links.

2002- Rob Rohn, Lehigh by fall over Josh Lambrecht, Oklahoma

2003 – Damion Hahn, last second takedown of John Trenge, Lehigh

Rob Rohn is definitely up there.

One thing stuck in my memory is watching Cael win his first NCAA.   He was smiling through the match, maybe because he was winning but I took it as he was just having fun wrestling the biggest match of his life.

McIlravy’s loss in the finals to Marrientti.   That was a classic along the lines of Gable losing.

I didn’t see it live but Schultz vs Banach where Schultz moved up a weight to keep Banach from being a 4 timer and won.

Any  match where Fix rolls on the mat and then jumps 10 feet in the air to show how superior he is and then loses.   I don’t like Fix because of all that, and love when he loses.   I don’t care for showboats.
