Ha ha!! Yeah, they can calm down or go to their room. Sometimes, if they are old enough, they prefer that option. We have a grandaughter that just turned 14 and she prefers being in her room. I don’t get it, but there you go.

So far so good. As they older they calm down…sorta.

That will be a full house for sure. But it is always fun, but nice when it is over. We had two kids over yesterday and BBQd some chicken. That was pretty good word.

Oldest daughter is coming to stay for the week while her husband travels for business. With her come the 5 kids. This going to be more than the house.

Now they are saying high chance the 90s could go another 10 days. If so, watering is losing battle.

Our grass is all green, but it will probably turn brown end of July and Aug. Highs next few days is 82 and then it goes down from there. 60s and 70s for highs the rest of 10 days. Broke out the lawn sprinkler last night. The sandy soil out here dries out quickly. The drought resistant seed I’ve been using has been great. It’s the rest of the lawn that’s got a hint of brow in it. No rain in the 14 day forecast.

I think it made it to 65F yesterday. Later this week it will be in the low 80s here. Then it will go back to the 60s. This is quite seasonal around here. Lousy weather for when school lets out word.

96F roared in yesterday. More of the same today, tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. Possibly piercing 100 later in the week.

Wiffle Ball! Love that game! That’s great, I had a pretty relaxing day. Maybe I’ll get another balancing kit and try your idea out. It’s just interesting that there was no noticeable change with the weight on one blade in any position word.

I chucked the old fan. The blades hook up the same but the new ones are longer. It just seems odd that I could get no better result at all no matter where I placed the test clip. It’s good enough I think. It has 5 settings, high, not so high, medium, slow, off. Medium cranks it out with the longer blades word.

If been laying around for a while, the blades may have warped. Do you still have the old fan ?

Tried the balancing kit last night. No good. Not one position made it really all that great. Last fan we did it and it worked great. I don’t know what is wrong here. Probably me word.

H D and Lowes has both. Thin peelable tape to attach to the top of the blades. The trick is finding the right amount and which blade to weight.

First 90’s of the year headed this way with T storms mixed in. It’s always enjoyable taking a natural outdoor shower.

You can add it any time. It is wired inside the base of the fan. It will control the lights too if you have them.

Well, we bought two years ago. Put one in and then the plan for the other fell through. So we kept it. It turns out it is the same stupid one that we had. I put up essentially the very same fan. I’d rather be going out too than spending the fussing with a ceiling fan. Get the remote adapter if it doesn’t come with one.
