Glad you made it back.
Indian Hills women brought home the NJCAA championship trophy with 4 individual champs. Coach of the year and Eliana Bommarito was Outstanding Wrestler.
Men finished in 9th with 4 All Americans.
Had a little parade through town and ceremony to welcome them all home. They had cake.

The school where the boys wrestled sent 3 this year. It’s the first time a wrestler went since the 90’s. The team won the district title this year upsetting South Plainfield which had won 37 straight district titles. SP the school where Anthony and Billy Ashnault wrestled along with current Rutgers wresters, Joe Heilmann and Tony White. It was a huge upset to say the least.

Gutted bath no.3 subfloor is shot due to old water leakage and will add a couple of days work before building back. Not too bad since I needed remove some to replumb the shower drainpipe to accommodate a different layout.

Have a tremendous day word!There is a fight in the legislature in WA about re-instating police authority to give chase to bad guys. Ds do not want cops to chase people. Last week, 2 children died when a drunk driver going 110mph traveling the wrong way on the freeway crashed into them. He was spotted an hour earlier but the state patrol could not give chase. You don’t have to pull over if the police put their lights on. Auto theft has soared – it is not a violent enough crime to enact the police pursuit. If they steal stuff, they can wave it out the window and police cannot give chase because it is not a violent enough crime. More people have died this year on the highway than in past years. There was a big rally yesterday and cowed the Senate to vote for a watered down police pursuit bill. The House has to do so now. They are reluctant to do so word.

AC, it is real. WA is completely whacked out. Ds in the legislature, it seems, try to figure out how they can help criminals the most and enact that.
Auto Theft is skyrocketing, and that is no joke, it is documented. Because they can’t be stopped anymore. Kind of emboldens the nefarious types. That’s why Shawn Kemp is in jail. NJ is a 90% red state except for 5 urban areas, Trenton, Jersey, Newark, Camden, and New Brunswick. The majority of the population lives in those 5 areas. Fortunately, the politicos in those areas have not taken up the defund the police ideology. Newark and Camden have been down that road with exorbitant crime. For years Camden was the murder capital of the country. Not anymore due to increased PD funding. The residents were fed up with all of the crime. The crime problem in the state now is car and catalytic converter theft. Cat theft was down since they finally addressed the metals buyers and threatened to arrest them as accomplices to the crime if they couldn’t produce a VIN for the cats. It’s starting to pick up again as the thieves take the cats to out of state buyers. One was caught with a truck load. Jersey plates, in Wisconsin after an auto accident.
