So on thursday I put in 3 pork butts into my smoker at about 8:30pm. I let that thing fly overnight, and checked in the morning. It was looking good. All three got to temp at different times. Why did I do this? My wife held her preschool graduation on Saturday and we made the pulled pork. It was really good. I have to say, I have not done anything bad with the smoker. Everything comes out incredibly good word.

Have a wonderful day word!AC – There are many kinds and many prices. My kids got me the cheapest on the market I think. Runs on propane. Very simple. I have to get wood chips that sit right above the propane and the meat goes above that. Nothing fancy, no thermostats, temp control. There is a thermometer that tells me how hot it is inside. I believe mine was $250 on Amazon. They have them cheaper. And even with that, the meat comes out awesome word.

Have a tremendous day word!I went an electric Masterbuilt with the built in thermostat and a thermometer for the big stuff. My only issue is the chip tray is small and I get only 30 minutes between reloads. For that reason, I won’t run it overnight, though I could.
Celebrated our Daughter’s B-day yesterday at a local place called Hops and Drops. We don’t drink alcohol so that part is wasted on us. I had pork rib tips and fries. It was pretty good word.

Rib tips and fries sound pretty good. Stopped at the Dairy Cup for supper but the grill and fryer were down. Had to settle for a salad.

On June 2, 2023, I said the following:
“Sunny and warm here. I’ll betcha that the rain will come the week school lets out. It happens every year since I went to school. Word.”Yesterday it rained and the high was supposed to be 58 but it was a scorching 60. In fact it rained and was cold on Saturday as well. Why? Because school lets out tomorrow. It is going to be rainy and cool today and tomorrow. Wednesday it will warm up a bit and dry out. You get out of school, you are excited, summer is here. That is not what happens here. You get out of school and it is gloomy, you are kind of deflated.
You can look up the forecast for Seattle and you’ll see what I am saying. Every year it is like this I swear word.
