Go home and clean the rest of the garage today. Hauling some loads to the trash dump.

2 loads to the dump and 2 loads to the recycling center. Now to organize what is left.
Have a splendid day word!Out here we have a bulk trash day once per month. Anything can go on the curb and the town picks it up. It’s amazing what people toss. Pickup a girls, 1968 Schwinn Stingray bike last fall. Hardly any rust. It must have been put at the curb with a ton of other junk just before I drove by.

Town used to have a cleanup week once per year where you could set out almost anything. Scrappers would drive around and go through before the city picked up. Don’t think we ever had anything sit on the curb for more than an hour. They stopped the cleanup a couple years ago. Said the cost was too high.
Have a spectacular day word!My wife’s preschool (located in our garage) is having the flooring ripped up. Hoping to get that replaced this week. I guess we’ll see word.

How is the floor coming along?
Have a tremendous day word!Stalled on the flooring. My wife is waiting for the underlayment to come. Once it comes, then she needs to get the actual flooring. But I’m guessing this will be done by this weekend or early next week. We go to Hawaii next week so it needs to done before then. This is a concrete garage floor. She is not putting down linoleum, but sheet vinyl. I’m not sure how one is better than the other, and not sure about laying that on concrete with underlayment, but forward we go word.

Have a fantastic day word!Thanks AC. I’m hoping to have a great time in Hawaii. Beach, water, shave ice, Ted’s Bakery chocolate Haupia pie, apple bananas, shave ice, and more shave ice. My son is actually saying that about the shave ice. Matsumoto’s in Haleiwa is really very good. Nice surfing beach there as well, Alii beach. That’s where they hold the first surf contest in the Vans Triple Crown of surf contests. They are amazing, truly word.

Crazy week, 2 families were in town, 6 GKs. GKs were a handful all week, then the 2 sons and daughter in laws at night. Did some flounder fishing with the kids getting a few keepers and then some surf fishing. They got a kick of catching 24-36″ sand sharks. Then took them all digging in a stream for 135 million year old shark teeth. All walked out with about 10each 1/2 to an inch in size and a few fossilized squid. Need lotsa sleep before daughter and her tribe return tomorrow.
