RYou – I think you should suggest a tiny house in the back. Get working on it!! The lights came so I will begin tonight to get this lighting situation figured out word.

The town caps us at 35% and we’re at 35% right now due so much paver coverage. The prior owners spent a fortune having pavers installed all around the house – double lane driveway, front and rea patios and walkways down the sides. I’d have removed a lot of pavers to create permeable space and the wifey would never let me do it.
February 7, 2024 at 12:41 pm #2227mspartParticipantWell, I tried to give you ideas. Wait – buy some property and build a new house. That’s that ticket word!!!

February 9, 2024 at 8:07 am #2245RYouParticipantHere we go again, having to resign in and post on the prior page.
I was finally cleaning up the garage and thinking I have to find a way to store all of this garbage. I looked up. AHA, I need a loft, so that is my new project. I order a delivery of 12′ 2×6’s, plywood and pulldown stairway from Lowes since the boards are too long to haul in my p/u. It was a steal at only $20 for the delivery. HD wanted $59 for the same load.
My daughter just emailed another blowout that just came on the market……wifey went into a rant…”Don’t you even think about it”

February 9, 2024 at 1:14 pm #2247mspartParticipantRYou – You just have to be doing something all the time. Good luck with the new project.
Lighting came and now I get to rewire and put in lights tomorrow and next week. Putting in some new outlets as well. We had electricians do similar in our front room. The amount of light we now have after 18 years in the dark there is absolutely amazing. I anticipate something similar in the basement. I have to cut some platforms to lay the lights on and we ordered a 6 1/4 holesaw to make the holes for the lights. I’ll be breaking out the table saw tomorrow and start cutting and measuring. Wait, measuring and cutting!! I get those two mixed up too often word.

You guys inspire me with the projects. I am going to take a nap and see if I dream of any projects around here.
Have a great day word!February 10, 2024 at 5:49 pm #2249RYouParticipantWell that was quick work. I ended up lofting only half the garage. Next week I’ll cut in the pull down stairway. Its pleasantly not winter around here but the 50 will vaporize next week.
February 11, 2024 at 4:25 pm #2251ACGunsParticipantGoooooooooood afternoon everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!
Current project is making some dips and grilling wings.
Have a super day word!February 12, 2024 at 8:24 am #2252RYouParticipantGreat competitive game last night. Niners should have won but for that missed PAT.
Another snowstorm is a brewin but should slide right past us again.
February 12, 2024 at 3:25 pm #2253mspartParticipantGood thing Taylor was there cheering on the Chiefs. There was that incident where her beau knocked the head coach off balance while screaming at him. I don’t care who is GF is, I would have told him to simmer down for the rest of the half and maybe the 3rd quarter or game. I have no patience for that kind of crap word.

February 13, 2024 at 5:30 am #2254RYouParticipantCoaches have 50 odd egos to deal with. Kelce has one of the bigger ones on the field and in one respect he’s earned it. Few know what he actually said, but by Reid’s reaction he may well have agreed with him. Reid just let him rant, probably because he wasn’t on the field for that play.
February 13, 2024 at 8:01 am #2255ACGunsParticipantGooooooooooooood morning RYou and everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a good game to watch and the wings were great. A lot of Chiefs fans around here so the people are happy.
Have a terrific day word!February 13, 2024 at 12:29 pm #2256mspartParticipantWoo Hoo! Taylor won word!!

February 14, 2024 at 8:49 am #2270RYouParticipantLooks like the bookies underestimated the Chiefs and ended up taking a big hit. The early line was for the Niners -4.5 and it dropped to -1.5 by game time which means the bulk of the money was put on the Chiefs. That was an unusually big drop in the odds without a star QB, RB or receiver unexpectedly not in the lineup. Even if Moody didn’t miss the PAT and the Niners won 17-16, the Chiefs would have beaten the spread. This was the first time in 45+ years I wasn’t in a betting pool for the game. I think I made money only twice over the years, so I probably saved a bit.
February 15, 2024 at 9:51 am #2271RYouParticipantNot gonna see 50’s for a while. Guessers predicted rain, we got 1″ of snow. Now they are predicting 2 more days of snow over the next week. Looks like Puxatauny Phil got it wrong.
