Gooooooooooooood evening mspart and everybody!!!!!!!!!!
Temp was 78 on Sunday, now bouncing in the 50’s.
Have an excellent night word!March 6, 2024 at 3:18 pm #2342mspartParticipantCold here this morning. 29F. But sky is clear and I could see Mt Rainier this morning which is not usually possible due to the overcast skies that dominate the climate. Plus I got a closer parking spot word.

March 7, 2024 at 8:08 am #2343RYouParticipantThe countdown has started. 67 hours to go until we steal that hour of sunshine back.
Wifey decided she wants to change the location for the bed in that last room I finished.
“But wifey, the bed will block the only HVAC vent in the room.”
“Can’t you just move it?”
“expletives deleted”March 7, 2024 at 4:52 pm #2348mspartParticipantSee RYou, that’s where all this effort goes. She asks the impossible and wonders why you can’t give. My wife just puts the bed infront of intakes and over outlets for the heating system. She just generally doesn’t care. She’s in charge of the interior unless new electrical is needed word.

March 8, 2024 at 7:27 pm #2357RYouParticipant2 days and still working on moving the HVAC duct. Tear out was a nightmare as the ran inside the floor joists and over the large return duct. Apparently that duct was installed before the return since it was strapped up and had a joint above the return.
Next up was creating a space between the wall and flooring to being up the new duct. I’ve done it before, not hard but time consuming. This time I’m working on a finished wall and floor, and from below in crawl space height of less than 36 inches.
The sole reason for ripping out the old was to reuse it. It turns out that one 7″D….the only 7″ D branch in the house. Try finding matching 7″ parts. It’s an oddball. Most everything is 4, 6, or 8″ If I had known that I would have left it up inside the floor.

A little snow and freezing rain yesterday. Supposed to be back to 70 Monday.

March 11, 2024 at 9:10 am #2362ACGunsParticipantGooooooooooooooood morning RYou and everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like DST much better. Wifey already asked when do we go back.
Have an awesome day word!March 11, 2024 at 12:49 pm #2363mspartParticipantHey y’all
This morning was rough. Getting up was tough to do. Even now, DST is killing me. Oh well. RYou, you might as well have built new new from all the renovations you’ve done. I met a guy who was an underwater welder. He was in his 40’s and retired. I guess with that job, your body just wears out. Anyway, he was living in a shack while building a 4000 sq ft house – by his very own lonely self. He had the structure up but was working interior. It just takes so much man hours to build a place it is amazing. My wife built some shelves over the weekend and we are finishing the basement. I think the basement will be done by tonight or tomorrow word.

March 11, 2024 at 9:48 pm #2364RYouParticipantWind howled through the night and most of the day. My weather station registered chronic gusts over 40 MPH and a few pushing 55. It was 55F but couldn’t do anything outdoors due to the wind.
March 12, 2024 at 9:24 am #2365ACGunsParticipantGoooooooooooooooooood morning everybody!!!!!!!!
72 and windy today. Need some precipitation, the wind blows a lot of dust.
Have a terrific day word!March 12, 2024 at 12:48 pm #2369mspartParticipantMy son turned 25 yesterday so we had a great celebration for him. I cooked shoyu chicken that my wife marinated, we bought fried rice from Panda Express (his favorite) and Yakisoba and a pineapple from Costco. It was pretty good. Didn’t finish the basement, that might happen tonight word.
