Got a little done. The job is to put up cedar boards where the climbing wall was. But they are different widths so that is not very conducive to keeping things straight. I either get to rip some boards or find some at the right width word.

Crazy weather. Went to see the new granddaughter. When I left at 3 it was 77F at her place; Got home 1 hour later and it was 56F. I was watching the temp drop on my car screen Every two to three minutes it would drop a degree.
March 15, 2024 at 1:58 pm #2392mspartParticipantNice spring day here starting at 35F and should end at 63F word.

March 15, 2024 at 10:31 pm #2394RYouParticipantThose guessers predicted rain and mid 50’s. It was the best day so far, sunny and 75. Finally got around to cleaning up the leaves that blew in over the winter.
March 18, 2024 at 12:50 pm #2396mspartParticipantThis weekend was glorious. 70’s. But we are moving down in highs for the next few days and then going way down and rain returns. Nice spring for a few days anyway.

The kids opted to host a party at an arcade museum, 100+ vintage pinball and arcade games, They have over 600 in inventory and rotate the games every 6 months. Best part is you pay a $20 admission fee, and you play any game you want for free with no time limit. hey have a party room and allow you to bring eats in. Everyone had a blast including the GKs.
March 19, 2024 at 12:24 pm #2401mspartParticipantSounds like a great place. Hopefully they make money and are able to continue. Yesterday was good. I finally got a guitar sold that I’ve had for sale for months. Out of the blue someone bought it. I just sent it off today. I bought it back in 1983. It plays real nice and I have held on to it for all these years. Tough to let go of something like that. But it is in shipment and I have a much better guitar now so I am good word.

March 19, 2024 at 5:21 pm #2402RYouParticipantKinda like selling your favorite car. Spring is here, but its winter weather, sans snow.
March 20, 2024 at 12:35 pm #2407mspartParticipantKind of like that. However, some years ago I bought an Epiphone Les Paul Plus Top Pro. I have wanted a Les Paul for 40 years and I finally got it. That is my go to now. Along with that, I purchased a Marshall Origin 20 Head and a speaker cabinet with two 12 inch speakers. I bought a few effects pedals as well. I am pretty much where I have wanted to be for years and years. I would like to have a stack of two speaker cabinets with four 12 inch speakers each. But that’s a bit much for the house. I’m lucky my wife has allowed me to get what I have. But she didn’t want me to keep the other guitar. So I sold it. Also sold an old Fender Vibro Champ amplifier some time ago that I’d had since I was a junior in HS. She is slowly cleaning me out. But when you don’t use them anymore, it is tough to justify.
By the way, I did not, over the weekend, reroute any heating ducts word!!

March 21, 2024 at 7:16 am #2408RYouParticipant77 F high last week. 28 F low this AM. Sleeper sofa arrived. Would have blocked that heat duct if I didn’t mover it. Good thing I did move it. Ordered the last two windows last night. I held off as I didn’t want to freeze the house with 2 gaping holes in the middle of winter.
March 21, 2024 at 12:27 pm #2410mspartParticipantFreezing the house is a bad move for sure word.

March 24, 2024 at 3:38 pm #2411RYouParticipantTypical NCAA championship. I don’t think anyone expected Penn State to score more than double the team points of No. 2.
Best bout was Carr and Mesenbrink. Brooks is a monster. He’s going to give Snyder more than he’s seen in a long time.
I would pay to see Brooks and Kerkvliet go at it. I’m fairly certain Brooks would handle him fairly easily.March 25, 2024 at 2:37 pm #2412mspartParticipantI didn’t see any of the matches, but it sounded like a fun event. I would love to have been there word.

March 25, 2024 at 6:50 pm #2413RYouParticipantThey are up on Youtube. Just an FYI, the Fix v Arujau bout is almost 30 minutes due to reviews.
March 26, 2024 at 1:18 pm #2416mspartParticipantYes, I watched that yesterday and fast forwarded through all the reviews. As noted on the intermat forum, Fix did actually nothing but block and take half attempt shots. When he really went for it, he got stopped and taken down. Vito really is something special there word.
