ParticipantIt’s odd how the iphone filters nighttime pics. Still no aurora, or mopon or stars over here. Just clouds and rain.

ParticipantYeah, we had a rare moment in time where there were no overcast skies. So my son went driving around looking for it after midnight. He found one of the best sites for activity was at our house in our driveway word.

ParticipantThings got really busy. Last window finally arrived and rushed to get it in then re – side the exterior wall and interior trim before the weekend. No.1 son and family tell us they are arriving Friday night and hanging till Monday. Tuesday, wifey tell me she wants to go shrub shopping, so I end up spending the afternoon planting.
I hope you seen some improvemnt.

ParticipantHi RYou,
I am getting better from pneumonia I think. I feel fantastic but feel like there is still something lingering in my lung. But I feel great and am able to have a more normal existence.
I went to the retina specialist last week and she said the retina and optic nerve were damaged. So it probably won’t get better or worse. It will just remain static. But I am ok with that. I have a friend who has similar lack of vision due to a baseball accident from years ago. I asked him about this and he said that he is now used to it but still finds it annoying. That’s the word for it. It is annoying. And night vision is definitely impaired. He agreed and limits driving so he doesn’t drive at night as much as possible.
It sounds like you had a busy weekend!! Wow. Never a dull moment. Do you feel retired? It sounds like you are working harder than when you were working. I jest of course but you are busy busy.
Overall, I feel blessed even with the vision issue. The result of a stroke could have been so much worse. I am thankful it only hit my eye. Word.

ParticipantYeah, you’re right. As bad as losing some sight is, worse case is far grimmer. Aside from some spot showers which do benefit the grass, the weather has been incredible. Blue skies and sunshine. Then a dark cloud rolls in and drops 1/4″ and rolls on by.
I’m not sure this is going to work, but I’ll give it go.
We were having dinner outside last night and two rabbits stroll over not 6′ from us. One starts scratching at the ground digging a hole while the other lays down about 3′ away. Then the momma drops a baby rabbit right in front of us. Fortunately I had my phone so I filled on the camera to video. I think the file is too large for this site, but here goes.

ParticipantShe came by to feed the little one last night. She removed the grass over the hole and dangled herself over the hole. We could see the little one suckling on her off its back. When she was done, she started licking it then recovered the hole and hopped away.
