Got our first snow fall in 2 years, 3.5 inches. With it came our 11th grand kid, Annabelle Rose at a hefty 7 lbs 9 ozs, 20.5 inches. Mom and dad hit hospital just before the snow started.

Another southern squall is moving in tonight bring 55F and 2-3 In of rain, no snow, no sleet, no sunshine.

No rain, no snow, just gloomy 50’s

3 days of mid 50’s but 3″ of rain too. Weekend snow missed us by 5 miles. Kids up north got 6″ GKs had fun sledding on the old school hill.

Bathroom finished. Short break, then into the last bedroom. Wifey defines how short “short” will be.

Crazy week with grands off from school. Caught the second half of Rutgers bowl win but that’s been it for football.

NIL and the portal are killing the bowl match ups. Far too many starting from the 2nd and 3rd teams. NCAA has to keep the portal closed until after the playoffs.

Daughters’ fam coming down to stay for a couple days. Fam had the flu over Xmas and missed the festivities.

That earthworm evacuation happened out here a few years back but it was November during a heavy rain. They were all over the streets and sidewalks. 3 DAYS TO GO.

Nice, kind of an adoption celebration. I never had a 3 week vacation. Well I do have this permanent vacation going on now. I had 2 weeks twice, backpacked Glacier National and the Teton Range. maybe three but I cant remember another.

A southern blow rolled in last night raising the temp to 60F and dropping 2″ of rain. Sposed to last till noon then replaced by a northwestern blow dropping the temp back into the 30’s. Just another weather rollercoaster.

Sure sounds like bad PVC cement is failing. It could be the wrong cement, but that’s not likely with someone experienced in constructing with PVC. I’ll hazard a guess the pipe was contaminated by oil and wasn’t cleaned adequately. PVC cement creates a reaction that causes the pipe to liquefy slightly and expand sealing the joint.
