Those guessers predicted rain and mid 50’s. It was the best day so far, sunny and 75. Finally got around to cleaning up the leaves that blew in over the winter.

Rip You’ll know you have a straight board. I hate it when boards warp.

Crazy weather. Went to see the new granddaughter. When I left at 3 it was 77F at her place; Got home 1 hour later and it was 56F. I was watching the temp drop on my car screen Every two to three minutes it would drop a degree.

3 days in the 70’s ahead. Closed up the new vent, spackled, painted, ,,, done with it.

Wind howled through the night and most of the day. My weather station registered chronic gusts over 40 MPH and a few pushing 55. It was 55F but couldn’t do anything outdoors due to the wind.

3 days of 60+ on the way

I would have to blow a weeks worth of vacation to get Xmas off. We had a lot of contracts that renewed 1/1 so I’d end up working part of the week anyway. We always tried to have those contracts renewed by the first week of the month, but some of the clients wouldn’t give us the attention to get it finalized early. I know a few CFOs did it…[Read more]

I am now at the point where I can remind myself of a holiday and actually take the day off and do nothing.

Was there a holiday I missed ?

I favored soda steam root beer. Wifey liked lemon and orange. I never unpacked it since the move. I totally forgot about.

Soda stream works well, just need to find good flavor syrup.
