In MN, at least in 1994-2001, they came with snowplows in neighborhoods and big roads and cleared them. Salt was a major feature of that but still, roads were cleared quickly word.

Ah yes, FL. Very nice. It rains here all the time so being outside in the rain is not that big a deal. It was a real downpour that I was in. I put in simpson ties for the joists so I feel better about that word.

I just hope when I get back to that project it isn’t downpouring like that first day. It was really coming down, my leather gloves were dripping and saturated. Today is similar, supposed to have 1 inch or so of rain today. And that is all day long of a harder than average rain for around here word.

My son and I built to deck platforms for my wife yesterday in the pouring rain. Got it done and squared up pretty nicely. Just need to put the decking on the first platform and the joists on the second and get the decking on it. Need to add some stairs word.

I’m really impressed with these new guys. Jax just overcame a lot with his opponent in the finals. That guy did not give up and Jaz didn’t give up more than that.
