The pipe liner is a really slick idea. It avoids tearing up everything above the pipe no matter what it is, and that is far more time consuming. Fingers crossed for you that concrete pipe remains in good enough condition.

2 weeks = true R & R

Someone opened the oven door. 90 yesterday, 95 today, 100 tomorrow and possible 105 on Saturday.

Just got back from 4 days at Cape Cod on the Massachusetts coast. All 19 of us. After 4 days, beat, we had to drive 7 hours through weekend traffic to get home. Slept 10 hours and I’m still beat today. It was a great place for kids on the beach. Plenty of room for baseball and good fishing from the beach and the canal in the back of the hotel.

My mom had some heart issues that led to the stroke. Fortunately, she died in her sleep at an assisted care facility, she had a great life though, 89.

Close, it was an eye doctor. She has cataracts and the doc wants to replace the eye lenses. Her eyesight really deteriorated over the past year so it’s become a must do. No. 1 grandson learned how to play the piano watching YouTube instruction. He uses all 10 fingers too. Mostly classical piano. Show him sheet music and he can read it. He learns the keys bit by bit and recalls the entire song from memory.

That’s quite an array of vintage gear, and probably worth a few bucks to collectors. I tried a tonette in grade school. I’ve had a bad ear since I was little and couldn’t play in tune.
