Had a great time in St Pete. Low 80’s. The warmth felt great.

Our rain is exactly the opposite. We rarely get the misty stuff which we common calla fog. rain is rain, droplets of any size. Hard rain is when there an unusually high volume of droplets.

I enjoy working in the rain. Just need a cap to keep it from dripping into the face, It’s messy but nothing a hose can’t handle.

I surprised my wife with a trip to St Pete Beach Florida for our anniversary. She needed it more than me. Low 80’s and sunny. NICE !

I guess there is only one way to find out. The Simpson won’t fail, but the nails or screws holding it in place may pull out.

If a bear sheared the deck bolts, I don’t think you can find something stronger except a thicker bolt or a Grade 8 bolt. They use them on carnival rides because of the shear strength. I’m pretty sure the only come in carriage bolts, no lag bolts.

Finally got out Sunday. 5 days waiting for 3 blood cultures that were clear. Worst 5 days ever. I was tubed to an IV cart with tubes in both arms so I go anywhere off the floor. I’ve stuck in the hospital due to a urinary tract infection. I usually go an outpatient office of my medical provider, but the wife said I should it checked out thoroughly. We have a 3 deer family that pass through the year nightly to check the apples fallen from our tree. The tomatoes are on the opposite side of the yard and the deer have tried to steal them even thou some of the branches with fruit overhang the screening that encloses the yard.

The tropical finally dissipated yesterday, 3 days 4 inches of water. Leaves and branches are all over the place from the wind. So far wifey has made 8 quarts of tomato sauce and 4 quarts of tomato soup. We never such an abundant tomato crop and only plants. The volume of reds is finally winding down. Tropical storm from the south moved in Saturday night. Its been raining ever since, 4″ so far. They forecast more tonight and tomorrow before it moves out.

That job would be a big enough but having the deck all around it just makes it a nasty one.

Do you have any idea how deep the tank is from the surface. The sewer drain will be at the top of the tank. If you determine where the top of the tank sits you gauger how deep the pipe runs since it will be a straight line to the start at the house. If you can access the clean out cap and open it you can probably determine the depth of the tank…[Read more]

Hopefully the pipe is not too deep. Because of the freeze potential out here the sanitary pipes are at least 3 feet deep and often more.
